My classmates liked mine so much that these gave birth to my first book, <a href=\"http:\/\/pierrecormon.com\/obra\/o-genio-da-berinjela\/\"><strong>Le G\u00e9nie de l\u2019aubergine<\/strong><\/a> (The Genie of the Aubergine);<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pierrecormon.com\/obra\/as-memorias-de-sata\/\"><strong>Les M\u00e9moires de Satan<\/strong><\/a> (The Memoirs of Satan) continues in the same mood, adding a philosophical dimension;<\/p>\n<p>While working in the Middle East, I was disturbed to discover that people who preach indiscriminate violence can be very endearing on a personal level. My thriller <a href=\"http:\/\/pierrecormon.com\/obra\/o-traidor\/\"><strong>Le Tra\u00eetre<\/strong><\/a> (The Traitor) explores this contrast;<\/p>\n<p>Back in Geneva, I noticed that many of my foreign friends were intrigued by the Swiss political system, but lacked the key to understanding it. So I wrote <a href=\"http:\/\/pierrecormon.com\/obra\/politica-suica-para-iniciantes\/\"><strong>Swiss Politics for Complete Beginners<\/strong><\/a>, directly in English;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I paraded with samba schools several times during Rio\u2019s Carnival, and that\u2019s how <a href=\"http:\/\/pierrecormon.com\/obra\/o-grande-dia\/\"><strong>O Grande Dia<\/strong><\/a> was born. This novel has just been published in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>I still have many ideas for other books.
